Dustom Sails is a highly professional and modern sail making company situated in Zagreb, Croatia . Our production is based on decades of sailing experience, constant monitoring  of the latest hi tech and scientific achievements in the field, and a serious approach to every specific request by our customers. The sails are made in spacious, specially designed production halls with the total ground space of 370 m2 in Zagreb and, since 2007, a 1000 m2 hall in Šibenik. These conditions enable us to perform a top quality production and to guarantee short term delivery all year around. We design and plott our sails with the latest programs in 3D sail making specialized software which are as a rule accompanied by a careful and detailed numerical analysis for each sail. We achieve the best quality and high performance of our sails thanks to 14 highly educated and skilled employees who enjoy being creative. There are practically no limits to the range and types of the sails they can produce.

Our branch office in Šibenik brings us even closer to our sailing customers. All short term services, quick repairs, urgent measuring and/or orders, consulting as well as any other help is now achieved within hours instead of days.

Due to the highly sophisticated and hi tech production means, every sail we make is a unique hand made product which is designed and tested in coordination with the owner. Duško Tomic, BA Econ.

Duško is a known Croatian sailor who successfully sails his cruiser/racer “Munjek” winning a number of races during the past 35 years. In 1998, he and his crew were awarded with a prestigious “The blue ribbon” award – a prize given by a daily journal “Vjesnik” for salvation activities at sea. Duško is the founder an the owner of Dustom Sails. All his knowledge and love for sailing he has invested in the designing and manufacturing of sails.

Boris Tomic, BE

A young force in Dustom Sails. Raised as a competitor in a sailing addicted family. From his early childhood, he has sailed as a member of the "Munjek” crew until he made skipper of his own cruiser/racer “Malo Sunce” achieving top racing results. Since 2002, he regularly sails as a bowman on extreme racers “UFO” and “Angelo rosso” from Split. As a bowman of the JK Medveščak crew he won the Gill IMS Masters in 2005.

His primary activities are in regatta sail designs, aerodynamic researches, measurements and ratings (IMS, IRC and other), numerical calculations, Dustom software improvements, web designs and hardware.

Sven Forense, engineer

Sven sails since he was a child, all disciplines from the Optimist class, Europe class where he was the Croatian champion, to the classes 470, 49 etc. He has been a part of many national and international regattas, as well as European and world championships, bringing home medalls. He has a vast experience in sailing, and a long experience in sail-making. He will be happy to advise you, come to your ship, talk about your sails or service. Sven is also the designer of the software used in the sailloft.
